Fakefuturism by Yixin Ran

A new film by Chinese artist Yixin Ran that depicts a future world in which 'fake culture' (or shanzhai) has fostered global equality. The film explores how China has used Fake Culture to reclaim the products of Western capitalism, in order to challenge dominant powers.
